Coastal, US End $1.2B NASA Security Contract Fight

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 6:38 PM EDT) -- A judge has dismissed a case against the U.S. government by Coastal International Security Inc., which alleged it was unfairly denied a contract worth almost $1.2 billion to guard NASA facilities.

Judge Susan G. Braden of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims granted the government's unopposed motion to dismiss the case on Monday without prejudice. She did not give a specific reason in her final order, and explanatory court documents are either sealed or redacted.
