BorgWarner Beats Honeywell Invalidity Bid In IP Suit

Law360, New York (September 29, 2010, 6:03 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has shot down Honeywell International Inc.'s bid for a judgment of invalidity in competitor BorgWarner Inc.'s lawsuit accusing the company of infringing patents for turbocharger technologies.

Judge Martin Reidinger of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina denied Honeywell's motion for summary judgment Monday, allowing the infringement suit to proceed.
