USPTO Reorganizes Operational Structure

Law360, New York (September 30, 2010, 7:50 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday released plans to update its operational structure, in a move aimed at bolstering the agency’s internal processes and policy functions.

The largely bureaucratic changes will take effect on Oct. 1, in conjunction with a set of goals the agency laid out in its 2010-2015 Strategic Plan, the USPTO said in a statement Thursday.
