KLLM Ends Spat With Marsh Over Insurance Rate Hike

Law360, New York (October 01, 2010, 2:15 PM ET) -- KLLM Inc. has settled allegations that insurance broker Marsh Inc. breached its fiduciary duties to the trucking company by failing to advise it that cancellation provisions in two insurance policies left it vulnerable to more than $1 million in rate hikes.

Judge Henry T. Wingate of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi signed off on the settlement Thursday, terminating two consolidated suits KLLM had initially filed against several insurance companies in addition to Marsh.
