Law360, New York (October 04, 2010, 3:26 PM ET) -- Oakland, Calif.-based boutique construction firm Bell Rosenberg & Hughes LLP has merged with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, the firms announced Monday, giving Kilpatrick Stockton its first California office and adding 10 construction and infrastructure development attorneys to its team.
The firms had been discussing the merger, which closed on Friday and became effective Monday, since May, when a legal recruiter tipped the larger firm off to Bell Rosenberg's interest in a union, Kilpatrick Stockton co-managing partner Bill Dorris said Monday.
