Longtime Denny's Employee Files OT Suit

Law360, New York (October 6, 2010, 2:43 PM EDT) -- A Southern California man who worked for Denny's Corp. for 23 years has accused the food chain of cheating him out of overtime and regular pay in a putative class action that makes claims under federal and state law.

Named plaintiff Guillermo Lemus' suit, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, claims that Denny's failed to properly calculate the value of the "half-off meals" its workers were entitled to, and therefore didn't pay regular wages.
