Linerboard Atty Faces Sanctions For Fee Brawl

Law360, New York (October 7, 2010, 4:26 PM EDT) -- A plaintiff's attorney who claimed he was cheated out of his share of a $202 million antitrust settlement with linerboard manufacturers in 2004 now faces hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential fines for hassling the lawyer responsible for meting out the fee awards.

Judge Jan E. DuBois of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania set a hearing to decide how heavily John Peoples should be sanctioned for harassing Howard Langer, liaison counsel in the massive price-fixing suit.
