Pittsburgh Casino Shorted Security Guards On OT: Suit

Law360, New York (October 07, 2010, 2:15 PM ET) -- Pittsburgh's Rivers Casino has been hit with a putative collective action alleging it failed to pay security guards the federally mandated premium rate for overtime before time clocks were installed to keep track of their hours worked.

Pauline Schaefers, who said she has worked as a security officer at the casino since May 2009 and earns $10.50 an hour, filed her complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, naming Rivers as the sole defendant.
