Calif. Law Firm Sues Ex-Atty Over Secret UK Spin-Off

Law360, New York (October 8, 2010, 7:26 PM EDT) -- Wang Hartmann Gibbs & Cauley PLC has sued a former attorney for secretly operating a UK branch of the California firm and collecting billings without its knowledge.

Wang Hartmann accused Jason B. Witten of trademark infringement and breach of fiduciary duty in a complaint filed Monday by name partner Richard F. Cauley in the U.S. District Court for the Central District Court of California.
