Law360, New York (October 08, 2010, 6:51 PM ET) -- EMG Technology LLC, which recently reached settlements with Apple Inc. and Dell Inc. in patent suits over touch-screen technology, has settled with Microsoft Corp. and filed a new suit accusing Wal-Mart Stores Inc., McDonald's Corp. and others of infringing the same two patents.
EMG and Microsoft jointly notified the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday that they had resolved the matter and had agreed to dismiss the suit with prejudice.
