Wilson Sonsini Reps ActivIdentity In Assa Abloy Deal

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 12:47 PM EDT) -- Swedish lock and door maker Assay Abloy AB has said it will acquire California-based ActivIdentity Corp., which provides digital identity authentication and credential management products, for $162 million cash.

The global lock giant said Monday that ActivIdentity's market leadership in its industry and its portfolio of authentication products would complement Assa Abloy's subsidiary HID Global.
