Impax Settles Cephalon Suit Over Generic Amrix

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 1:33 PM EDT) -- Impax Laboratories Inc. has settled Cephalon Inc.’s lawsuit over its efforts to market a generic version of the prescription muscle relaxant Amrix, leaving Cephalon to wage parallel suits against other generic-drug makers.

Cephalon and Impax on Monday asked Judge Sue L. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware to dismiss the infringement action in light of a settlement entered Oct. 7 over Amrix, which is used to control muscle spasms associated with acute musculoskeletal conditions.
