Leonard Carder Can Sue Firm Over $12M Fee Dispute

Law360, New York (October 12, 2010, 7:04 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court ruled Tuesday that California labor firm Leonard Carder LLP can bring a declaratory action to fend off an attempt by Patten Faith & Sandford to go after 40 percent of a $12 million attorneys’ fee award the two plaintiffs firms won in a class action despite allegedly devoting significantly less time to the case.
