Law360, New York (October 13, 2010, 2:11 PM ET) -- A federal judge has certified two classes of Charter One Bank employees in their suit accusing the Midwestern bank chain of misclassifying its assistant branch managers as exempt from overtime pay and failing to pay its hourly employees for off-the-clock work.
Judge Joan H. Lefkow certified the classes on their Illinois Minimum Wage Law claims in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Friday, appointing Donelon PC's Brendan Donelon as class counsel for both groups.
