Law360, New York (October 14, 2010, 2:23 PM ET) -- A federal judge has refused to vacate a verdict finding a unit of Credit Agricole SA liable for tortiously interfering with a former research analyst’s prospective employment at another company, despite having previously trimmed the jury’s $2.4 million damages award.
Judge Thomas Griesa of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York rejected Credit Agricole Indosuez's motion to vacate the jury verdict or to grant the company a new trial, saying the weight of evidence supported the verdict.
