Samsung Files New Pleadings In Panasonic Patent War

Law360, New York (October 15, 2010, 4:04 PM EDT) -- Several weeks after Panasonic Corp. moved to dismiss the case, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has lodged an amended complaint alleging its rival violated antitrust laws by forcing competitors entering the secure digital memory card market to license patents on unfavorable terms.

The amended complaint was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The suit alleges Panasonic conspired with Toshiba Corp. and SanDisk Corp. to make things difficult for competitors, but did not name those companies as defendants in the case....
