Hundreds Tossed From Hospital FLSA Suits

Law360, New York (October 18, 2010, 5:46 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed hundreds of opt-in participants from a pair of wage-and-hour collective actions against the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Pittsburgh Mercy Health System Inc., ruling that the opt-ins didn't show that they'd worked for the hospital or that their claims weren't barred by the statute of limitations.
