Baxter Settles Lab Tech OT Action For $2.6M

Law360, New York (October 19, 2010, 2:17 PM EDT) -- Drug and medical device maker Baxter International Inc. has agreed to a $2.6 million settlement with lab technicians who claimed they were wrongly denied overtime pay.

According to a motion to approve the settlement filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the settlement class includes anyone who held the job title of quality laboratory associate at Baxter subsidiary Baxter Healthcare Corp. between Feb. 12, 2006, and Oct. 15, 2010.
