Law360, New York (October 20, 2010, 3:50 PM EDT) -- A judge has signed off on a pair of amended disclosure statements from rival parties in the Meruelo Maddux Properties Inc. bankruptcy, setting the stage for creditors to debate a set of proposals to revive the hobbled real estate company.

Judge Kathleen Thompson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California on Tuesday approved competing reorganization plans from Meruelo equity holders Charlestown Capital Advisors LLC and Hartland Asset Management Corp., and secured creditors Legendary Investors Group No. 1 LLC and East West Bank....
