Russian Police Raid PwC For Evidence Against Yukos

Law360, New York (March 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Russian police investigators seized computer databases of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Moscow offices on Friday as part of an investigation into whether the international auditing firm had helped the now bankrupt oil giant Yukos avoid taxes.

Oh Friday morning, a group of investigators from the prosecutor general’s office and another group from the Interior Ministry arrived at the PwC complex in Moscow and began gathering evidence.
