Japan OKs United-Continental-All Nippon Venture

Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 5:50 PM EDT) -- United Air Lines Inc., Continental Airlines Inc. and All Nippon Airlines Corp. have received the all-clear from Japanese antitrust regulators to combine their trans-Pacific flights.

United Continental Holdings Inc., which owns both of the U.S. carriers, said Friday that Japan's Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism approved the plan, which would allow the three companies to partner on flight schedules and pricing arrangements.
