Boeing Sues Chartis To Stave Off Suit Over UK Crash

Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 5:36 PM EDT) -- The Boeing Co. has sued Chartis Insurance UK Ltd. to avoid paying for the loss of a British Airways flight that crashed outside London in January 2008, claiming that BA's insurance policy with Chartis releases the aircraft giant from liability.
