Law360, New York (October 25, 2010, 1:47 PM ET) -- The Funeral Consumers Alliance Inc. has appealed the dismissal of an antitrust suit accusing Service Corp. International and other corporate funeral homes of conspiring with casket makers to boycott independent casket distributors and overcharge grieving families.
In a motion filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Friday, the FCA said that it had appealed the denial of class certification and dismissal of its consolidated antitrust action.
