GAO Slams ITC For Years Of Poor Oversight

Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 5:58 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has rapped the U.S. International Trade Commission for going years without an inspector general audit of its operations.

The ITC spent the last four years going through a string of acting and temporary inspectors general who were not given the resources to properly oversee the ITC's business, the GAO said in a report released Thursday.
