EREH Loses GSA Property Contract Fight

Law360, New York (October 29, 2010, 1:42 PM EDT) -- A judge has denied a losing bidder’s protest of a contract award for a new military medical center over claims that the U.S. General Services Administration failed to properly vet a rival bidder's offer.

Judge Edward Damich of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Thursday declined to turn over the contract award to property lessor EREH Phase I LLC, ruling instead that a lease for the military's planned Medical Command Headquarters would remain in the hands of winning bidder GBA Associates LP.
