Ex-NBA Star Wants 2nd Award From Morgan Keegan

Law360, New York (November 2, 2010, 3:46 PM EDT) -- Retired NBA all-star Horace Grant has lodged a securities arbitration claim alleging investment firm Morgan Keegan & Co. Inc.'s vexatious litigation tactics cost him millions of dollars by forcing him to cash in his pension early.

A Financial Industry Regulatory Authority arbitration panel awarded Grant $1.46 million in September 2009. But he has not seen any of that money yet because Morgan Keegan is going through a long and illicit appeals process, according to an initial statement of claim filed Monday with FINRA.
