GAO Quashes Online Video Protest Over NRC Contract

Law360, New York (November 5, 2010, 11:41 AM EDT) -- Online Video Service Inc. has failed to salvage its proposal to provide webcasting services to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission despite another contractor's substantially lower bid.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office denied Online Video’s protest over the webcasting contract, finding little merit to the claim that the NRC improperly favored Granicus Inc. by not seeking a lower bid from Online Video after reviewing the competing proposals.

The GAO initially denied the protest in October and published the decision on Thursday after redacting the text.
