European Patent Office Names Dual Heads for Successive Terms

Law360, New York (October 30, 2003, 12:00 AM ET) -- The European Patent Organization, long embroiled in a row between its member states over the appointment of a new head of the European Patent Office, finally resolved the controversy on Thursday with a compromise in which the French and U.K. candidates take on dual successive mandates.
