Law360, New York (November 08, 2010, 2:32 PM ET) -- AvidAir Helicopter Supply Inc. is challenging a district court's determination that five Rolls-Royce Corp. documents related to helicopter engine repair that were obtained by AvidAir are protected trade secrets.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit docketed the Missouri-based turbine engine repair company's appeal on Friday, agreeing to consider whether the district court erred when it awarded damages to Rolls-Royce and ordered AvidAir to deliver all copies of the proprietary documents to the defendant in two rulings issued in September and October.
