3rd Circ. Lets Insurer Off Hook For Pa. Town's Atty Fees

Law360, New York (November 09, 2010, 5:46 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed that a Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. unit doesn't have to cover an attorneys' fee award assessed against a Pennsylvania town that lost a suit over two ordinances regulating the employment and housing of illegal immigrants.

On appeal, the city of Hazleton, Pa., raised three additional issues regarding the attorneys' fee award, all of which lacked merit, according to an order issued Friday by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
