Target, OfficeMax, Others Face Web Search Patent Suit

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 1:03 PM ET) -- Kelora Systems LLC has accused Target Corp., OfficeMax Inc. and an array of other major retailers of infringing a patent covering online search systems.

The complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, alleges the 13 companies infringe Kelora’s patent by making and using parametric search systems, including Web-based systems, that incorporate Kelora’s proprietary technology.
