Akamai Sues Rival To Enforce Online Content Patents

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 1:04 PM EST) -- Akamai Technologies Inc. has sued Cotendo Inc., claiming the competing Internet content delivery services provider infringed three patents covering technology used to transmit online content.

Carlos Perez-Albuerne, Robert S. Frank Jr. and Courtney M. Schou of Choate Hall & Stewart LLP filed a complaint Tuesday on behalf of Akamai and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
