Reebok, Others Hit With Hockey Stick Bag Suit

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 1:05 PM EST) -- A Texas-based patent-holding company has hit a slew of hockey equipment vendors and manufacturers — including Inc., Reebok International Ltd. and Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. — with a lawsuit claiming they violated a patent for a hockey stick carrying bag.

Macha IP LLC lodged its complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Monday, targeting more than a dozen companies that allegedly make or sell hockey gear bags that violate one of its patents.
