GAO Sustains Calif. Co.'s DOT Bid Protest

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 5:25 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has ruled that the Department of Transportation wrongfully rejected a California company’s proposal for contracts in program management oversight, arguing the department improperly evaluated the company’s cost information.

In a decision released publicly on Tuesday, the GAO ruled that the DOT’s Federal Transit Administration erred in shutting PMO Partnership Joint Venture out of the running for a series of task order contracts on the ground that its pricing data was inadequate.
