Apple, Alston & Bird End Touch Screen Discovery Row

Law360, New York (November 12, 2010, 4:32 PM EST) -- Alston & Bird LLP, the firm representing a Taiwanese semiconductor complainant in a Section 337 fight over a touch-screen patent, says it has resolved a discovery dispute with Apple Inc., withdrawing a bid to quash a prior subpoena.

The firm, along with the partners working on the case, lodged the withdrawal motion Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, saying Apple has agreed not to seek any further discovery against them on the issue of domestic industry.
