SEC Picks Up WilmerHale Atty For Enforcement Spot

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 3:42 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has announced that WilmerHale partner Joseph K. Brenner will soon join the agency as chief counsel in its Enforcement Division, filling a spot long held by Joan McKown, who recently left for private practice.

The SEC said Wednesday that Brenner had been selected for the position, in which he will oversee the advisory of the division on legal and policy matters as it performs enforcement functions.
