BASF Dodges Claims From Vitamin Cartel Victims

Law360, New York (November 12, 2010, 3:38 PM EST) -- A U.K. appeals court on Friday tossed a suit brought by BASF SE customers who were hurt by the company's involvement in a vitamin cartel, ruling that their claims are too old to go forward.

A three-judge panel of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales ruled there is no way to extend the claimants' time to file under the rules of the U.K.'s Competition Appeal Tribunal.
