Mo. AG Sets Sights On Car Warranty Telemarketers

Law360, New York (November 12, 2010, 3:50 PM EST) -- Missouri's attorney general is pursuing lawsuits against three auto service contract marketers, alleging they have sold fake auto warranty products and have been selling insurance without a state license.

Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster said on Nov. 8 that he was amending his lawsuits against National Dealers Warranty Inc., Dealer Warranty Services and Dealer Preferred Warranties, adding the claim that the three companies have been selling insurance without a state license through the sale of additive contracts.
