Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 5:42 PM ET) -- A federal judge has tossed a breach of contract suit filed by Superior Energy Services LLC against shipbuilder Boconco Inc., finding that it was precluded by a previous settlement agreement.
In granting Boconco's motion for summary judgment, Judge Kristi K. DuBose of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama ruled Friday that the settlement agreement specifically resolved a dispute concerning the removal and retrofit of four so-called generator sets, an engine component.
