Oaktree Wants Akin Gump Disqualified In Tribune Case

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 1:02 PM EST) -- Oaktree Capital Management LP and Angelo Gordon & Co. LP have asked a bankruptcy judge to disqualify Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from representing Aurelius Capital Management LP in the Tribune Co. Chapter 11 proceedings.

Oaktree and Angelo Gordon are either the largest or among the largest creditors in Tribune bankruptcy cases, according to the disqualification motion they filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
