DOJ, FCC Approach Decisions On Comcast-NBC Deal

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 4:54 PM EST) -- Federal regulators are reportedly closing in on conditions for Comcast Corp.'s proposed $37 billion deal to take control of NBC Universal Inc. amid opposition from other media companies.

Both the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission are expected to put considerable conditions on the combination in order to bar the cable giant from keeping NBC's content from other distributions, the Wall Street Journal report Monday.
