Healthfirst Hands Over $7.7M In Marketing Rep OT Suit

Law360, New York (November 16, 2010, 12:28 PM EST) -- Healthfirst Inc., which bills itself as one of the country's fastest growing health plans, has agreed to pay nearly $7.7 million to settle class action allegations that it failed to pay marketing representatives for overtime.

Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York filed an order Monday giving preliminary approval of the settlement.
