Law360, New York (November 17, 2010, 5:16 PM EST) -- Top cable companies asked a U.S. Senate panel and federal regulators on Wednesday to write new rules to keep broadcast networks from yanking carriage rights during contractual fee disputes, in the wake of a growing number of standoffs between networks and distributors that have left consumers in the dark.
