Golden Globes TV Deal Sparks Contract, Trademark Row

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 3:04 PM EST) -- The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which gives out the Golden Globe Awards, has hit Dick Clark Productions Inc., the telecast’s producer, with a breach of contract and trademark infringement suit, alleging that the company inappropriately signed an extension of NBC Universal Inc.’s agreement to air the show through 2018.
