Judge Trims Antitrust Class Action Against Sirius XM

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 3:26 PM EST) -- Sirius XM Radio Inc. has ducked some claims in a proposed antitrust and breach of contract class action over the 2008 merger that created the company, but has failed to trim some plaintiffs and a slew of state consumer protection law claims from the suit.

Ruling for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday, Judge Harold Baer Jr. granted Sirius' motion to dismiss the plaintiffs' breach of contract and good faith and fair dealing claims
