Best Buy Faces False Marking Suit Over DVD Players

Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 4:58 PM EST) -- A unit of Best Buy Co. Inc. is facing a lawsuit alleging it has marked two of its music and DVD players with expired patents.

Kilts Resources LLC filed a complaint against Best Buy Enterprises Services Inc. on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging the retailer had falsely marked two products in its Insignia line of electronics and accessories.
