Inventor Targets IBM In Link Optimization IP Suit

Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 12:59 PM EST) -- IBM Corp. has been hit with allegations that it infringed a patent related to post-compile link optimization with several of its products designed to help computer programs run faster with less memory.

Texas resident James M. Taylor lodged his suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday, accusing the technology behemoth of infringing technology he invented that is protected by U.S. Patent Number 5,469,572.
