Softchoice Wants Google-DOI Contract Fight Tossed

Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 2:09 PM EST) -- A reseller of Microsoft Corp. cloud computing software has asked a court to nix Google Inc.'s preaward bid protest over a network services contract it claims the U.S. Department of the Interior predetermined should go to Microsoft.

Softchoice Corp. filed a motion to dismiss in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Friday, maintaining that Google and its co-plaintiff Onix Networking Corp., a licensed reseller of Google products, lack standing to bring their claims.
