Law360, New York (November 29, 2010, 3:29 PM ET) -- Biotechnology research firm Syntrix Biosystems Inc. has accused Illumina Inc. of infringing a patent covering DNA technology and misappropriating its trade secrets in breach of a nondisclosure agreement the companies struck when they were considering a partnership in 2000.
Bracewell & Giuliani LLP's Christopher Schenck, Alan D. Albright and Ralph D. McBride lodged Syntrix's suit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on Wednesday, slapping Illumina with claims of willful patent infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract and unjust enrichment....
