GAO Rules For DRS In 3rd Protest Of Army Contract

Law360, New York (November 29, 2010, 4:53 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has sided with a DRS Technologies Inc. defense supplier subsidiary in its third bid protest over a multimillion-dollar U.S. Army contract to provide a man-portable aircraft survivability trainer system.

The GAO sustained the protest lodged by DRS ICAS LLC in a sealed Sept. 8 decision, finding that the Army had improperly evaluated the company's technical proposal and also ruling that DRS' challenge to the Army's evaluation of the proposed prices was untimely.
